For another sense of digital presence I decided that creating a social media advert would be another great way for people to interact with exhibition. This would allow the exhibition to reach the wide range of people it’s aiming to attract. This advert could work on various forms of social media from Twitter to Facebook to Instagram. I have mocked up the advert on an instagram platform at the moment.
Again I thought that the advert needed to use the same imagery that have been used across the entire exhibition to keep them consistent. On the social media ad I also thought that it was important to have a quotation so that people have a idea about what the exhibition is about. The designs are simple however, I think that they work really well and are in keeping with the branding.
I feel that the colour works really well it’s eye catching and would make people stop and look at it. Whereas the black and white image used the striking pattern in the corner which has been prominent throughout the entire exhibition branding.
Another thing that I could develop is this idea of using movement within the social media ad. People are more likely to stop scrolling through their social media and look at something that is moving. I could potentially add the animated logo marque to the instagram ad to try draw more people to the post.
